  4. 7. Crew support is allowed
  5. 8. Follow the prescribed route
  6. 9. Declare your attempt

Declare your attempt

Every attempt must be declared before it starts. Declaring is free, and it is not an application: Reverie does not approve, refuse or supervise attempts. An undeclared attempt cannot be verified, whatever the evidence shows.

  • Declare no fewer than 7 and no more than 30 days before your start
  • Name a date and a start hour, on the hour. Your attempt must begin inside that hour — declare 20:00 and you start between 20:00 and 20:59
  • Seven days out, Reverie checks in to confirm you are still going
  • An unconfirmed declaration lapses, and an attempt run on a lapsed declaration cannot be verified
  • There is no postponing. Withdraw freely, but a new date or hour is a new declaration, with the full notice period again
  • Withdraw or re-declare at any time before the start, at no cost

Runners must be 18 or older on the day of the attempt.

Declarations are not open yet.

Getting verified

  3. 3. Pay the SGD 50 verification fee through the Reverie store.
  4. 4. Your private verification form arrives with your order confirmation.
  5. 5. Submit your evidence, using the same email address as your purchase.
  6. 6. Reverie reviews every submission by hand, against the published Verification Standard.

The attempt enters neither public record.

The fee

The SGD 50 fee pays for the review of your evidence. It does not buy a result. Fees are non-refundable once review has begun, including when an attempt is not verified.

Evidence you will submit

  • One continuous activity file covering the whole attempt
  • Public link to the GPS activity
  • Start selfie
  • At least two photographs taken during the attempt, spread across the route
  • Finish selfie, or a final photograph where you stopped

You must be visible in every selfie. Your watch distance must be visible where it applies.

Every submission is judged against the Verification Standard, which sets out the route, the clock, the recording and what a written rejection must cite. Read it before you attempt.

Checkpoints

The route has no mandatory checkpoints. The GPX is the route, and the activity file is what proves you followed it. Photographs are evidence that you were there, not control points to be reached in order.

What becomes public

If verified, the information you approve for publication appears on your record: your display name, portrait, answers, attempt details and selected photographs. Your email, order number, GPX file and original evidence are never published.
