About
Reverie Route is a 160KM run around the perimeter of Singapore, and a permanent record of everyone who has completed it.
It is unsanctioned
There is no event. No start gun, no permit, no marshals, no aid stations, no medical cover and no entry list. Nobody organises Reverie Route and nobody supervises it. Anyone may attempt it, on any day they choose, and the route is published free.
What Reverie does is publish the route and the rules, review evidence afterwards, and keep the record. That is the whole of it. Running the perimeter is between a runner and the island.
The Archive
The Archive lists everyone whose completion has been verified, in the order they were admitted to it. A record carries a number, a name and an elapsed time, and it stays there permanently.
There are no categories, no age groups, no podiums and no points. The only distinction is the Course Record, held by the fastest verified time. An Archive Number is the order of admission, not a ranking — 001 is not faster than 002, only earlier.
The names are the point. Everything else on this site exists to make sure they are real.
Why it exists
It started as a thing about glory and ego. But the idea that stuck was not running it — it was giving the experience to other people. The adventure of going around Singapore's perimeter.
So the route was run, and this was built. The same way one finish can make someone else believe it is possible, every name here is meant to do the same. Not only to run 160 km, but to step out and do something bold. The Archive is proof that what looks impossible is actually possible.
Who keeps it
Reverie Route is published and maintained by Reverie Run Club LLP in Singapore. Every submission is reviewed by hand against the published Verification Standard. Nothing is automated, and no record enters the Archive without a person looking at the evidence behind it.
